    Gun cleaning

I've recently started using these bore snakes. Beats the shit out of using rods, especially for rifle.
    Anyone else use snakes?

I use them sometimes. I’m a dinosaur tho. Always reluctant to change, I still use cleaning rods most of the time.

I did up until a few months ago. I've used rods for 30+ years. Don't think I'll go back to them after using the snakes. They do such a great job with little effort.

I've been using cleaning rods now 58 years. They've done a good job for me. If it ain't broke why fix it?

I like change and trying new things. It's helpful this day and age since things change so quickly. [emoji16]

I use both. Shotguns do well with the snakes for a quick cleaning after a round. If I go as far as field stripping, I use a rod...

I use both. Cleaning rods for really dirty barrels and the snakes for a quick clean
